I second the (self-)nomination of Dr. Black, on condition he commit to bringing me on as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Financial Markets, which was held in its Glory Days by a former boss of mine.**

He is the irreplaceable man. He knows where all the bodies are buried. Then too the US Treasury has been destroyed. Tim had a hand in that too in his days at the NY Fed where he enabled the bubble. One of histories great monsters. I wish him ill.
Yes, Geithner seems to have operated under the impression that his number one priority is bailing out bankers. But will Obama nominate someone better?
